Build the infrastructure global trade runs on
TFL Nexus sits at the intersection of compliance, finance, and logistics — join us and help give every party in a cross-border deal the same, trustworthy record.
What you get on a team this early
Real ownership
A small team means high-leverage work. What you build ships to production, not into a backlog.
A problem worth solving
Cross-border trade touches compliance, finance, and logistics at once — genuinely complex, and underserved by existing software.
Ground-floor impact
Early enough that your calls on architecture, design, and go-to-market shape the network for years.
Direct access
No layers of management between you and the people making the calls. You'll work directly with the team building this.
What we hold every decision to
Explainable, never a black box
If a person can't see why the system reached a conclusion, we don't ship it.
Human judgment, always
Automation surfaces evidence. People make the decisions that matter.
Every party sees the same record
Information asymmetry between counterparties is a bug, not a feature.
Rigor over shortcuts
This platform touches real compliance and settlement flows. Mistakes have real consequences.
Remote, flexible, and honest about ownership
Remote by default
The team is distributed. Work from wherever you do your best work.
Flexible hours
We care about the work getting done well, not hours logged at a desk.
Real equity conversations
Every early hire has a direct, honest conversation about ownership — not a boilerplate offer.
Nine roles, one network to build
We don't have a formal job board yet, so compensation is discussed directly and set based on experience rather than published in a fixed band.
Senior Full Stack Engineer
You'll work across the entire product surface — from the organization network and profiles through to the provider marketplace and settlement flows — shipping features end to end.
What You'll Do
- Design and build features spanning the full stack, from database schema to UI
- Help stand up the organization network: profiles, connections, and search & discovery
- Work closely with the Backend/API and AI engineers to keep the platform coherent as it grows
- Make architectural calls early — there's no legacy to work around yet
What We're Looking For
- Several years shipping production web applications end to end
- Comfortable owning a feature from database to UI with minimal oversight
- Interest in fintech, compliance, or trade — or genuine curiosity to learn it fast
Backend / API Engineer
You'll build the APIs and services that power messaging, deal rooms, and the provider marketplace — the connective tissue between every organization on the network.
What You'll Do
- Design and build the APIs that internal features and external integrations are built on
- Build out messaging, deal-room, and provider-marketplace backend services
- Own data integrity and performance as the network scales
- Work with the AI Engineer to expose the data AI matching needs
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience designing and operating production APIs
- Comfortable with the tradeoffs of a fast-moving early-stage system
- Bonus: experience in a regulated or compliance-heavy domain
AI Engineer
You'll build the matching layer that connects the right organizations to the right opportunities — explainably, not as a black box.
What You'll Do
- Design and build the AI matching engine connecting importers, exporters, and providers
- Work with real organization and transaction data to make matching genuinely useful
- Keep every match explainable — if you can't say why a match was made, it doesn't ship
- Partner with the Backend/API Engineer on the data model matching depends on
What We're Looking For
- Experience shipping ML/AI features into a real product, not just research
- A bias toward explainable, inspectable systems over opaque ones
- Comfortable working with sparse, messy, real-world business data
Product Manager
You'll translate between customers, business, and engineering — deciding what TFL Nexus builds next.
What You'll Do
- Own the product roadmap and prioritization
- Turn user feedback into concrete feature requirements
- Define the user journeys for every organization type on the network
- Work directly with engineering and design to ship the right thing, not just something
What We're Looking For
- Experience owning a product roadmap end to end, ideally at an early-stage company
- Comfortable making prioritization calls with incomplete information
- Genuine interest in trade, finance, or B2B network platforms
UI/UX Designer
Because this is a network platform, usability is everything. Your users span importers, exporters, banks, logistics companies, and insurers — all of whom need to understand the platform quickly.
What You'll Do
- Design the dashboard, organization profiles, and network search experience
- Design deal rooms, connection workflows, and messaging
- Design for mobile as a first-class experience, not an afterthought
- Work closely with engineering to ship designs as built, not just as mocked
What We're Looking For
- A portfolio of shipped B2B or platform product design work
- Ability to design for a genuinely varied audience without dumbing anything down
- Open to starting as a contract engagement
Head of Network Growth
Your job is to get organizations onto the network — importers, exporters, suppliers, and finance, logistics, and insurance providers. This isn't traditional sales; it's ecosystem building.
What You'll Do
- Recruit the first organizations across every side of the network
- Identify and solve the cold-start problem specific to two-sided marketplaces
- Work with Business Development on anchor-partner strategy
- Shape how new organizations experience the network in their first weeks
What We're Looking For
- Experience growing a marketplace, network, or platform from an early stage
- Comfortable being judged on network health, not just deal count
- A strong point of view on how two-sided networks actually grow
Business Development / Partnerships
You'll recruit the anchor organizations — banks, trade finance funds, large logistics companies, insurers, trade associations, and chambers of commerce — whose participation pulls in everyone downstream:
What You'll Do
- Build and run outreach to anchor organizations
- Structure partnerships that give each anchor a reason to bring their own network
- Work with the Head of Network Growth to sequence anchor partners against overall network growth
- Represent TFL Nexus in trade, finance, and logistics industry circles
What We're Looking For
- A track record closing partnerships with large or institutional organizations
- Experience in trade finance, banking, logistics, or insurance is a strong plus
- Comfortable with long sales cycles and complex stakeholders
Customer Success / Network Success
Your role is not to manage deals — it's to help every organization actually get value from the network: onboard, build a profile, make connections, and use the platform well.
What You'll Do
- Guide new organizations through onboarding and profile setup
- Help organizations find and make their first connections on the network
- Resolve technical issues and be the voice of the customer internally
- Track and improve engagement across the network
What We're Looking For
- Experience in customer success or community management, ideally for a platform or marketplace
- Genuine enthusiasm for helping people succeed, not just closing tickets
- Comfortable being measured on engagement and adoption, not transaction outcomes
Network Trust & Verification Manager
The network only works if organizations can trust each other. You'll own verification, documentation, and abuse prevention across every organization that joins. For example:
What You'll Do
- Manage organization verification: business registration, identity, and domain checks
- Maintain network trust badges and the standards behind them
- Investigate fraud reports and suspicious accounts
- Manage third-party KYB, sanctions, and AML vendors and the process around them
What We're Looking For
- Experience in trust & safety, fraud, or compliance operations
- Comfortable owning a process end to end, including vendor relationships
- Sound judgment on ambiguous or borderline cases
