One workspace, built for every party in the deal
TFL Nexus is a technology and transaction-orchestration platform for cross-border trade — connecting importers, exporters, banks, insurers, and logistics providers on one shared, auditable record instead of scattered email threads and spreadsheets.
Built from firsthand frustration with how trade actually works
TFL Nexus started with a simple observation: a single cross-border trade transaction touches compliance, financing, insurance, and logistics — usually spread across five or six organizations working from their own disconnected email threads, spreadsheets, and systems. Our team had watched that inefficiency up close and wanted to solve it properly, not paper over it with another point solution.
We brought the same discipline we'd applied to efficiency-focused workflow software — in continuous operation since 2016 — to a much more complex, regulated domain: a single platform that carries a transaction from its first match all the way through to a closed deal, on one shared, auditable record instead of a dozen disconnected ones.
Reducing friction, opening the door for every business
Cross-border trade has always favored organizations with existing banking relationships, established credit lines, and the scale to negotiate directly with financing and insurance providers. Small and mid-sized businesses are often priced out or simply invisible to that network — not because their trade isn't viable, but because no one built them a door in.
One request, every provider
Instead of building a relationship with each bank, insurer, or logistics company one at a time, any approved organization requests financing, insurance, or logistics directly from the transaction — and providers compete for the business.
Funding on equal footing
A small importer or exporter goes through the same compliance screening and the same provider marketplace as a large enterprise. Size doesn't gate access to financing — passing KYB/KYC screening does.
A growing ecosystem, not a closed network
Every organization that joins — importer, exporter, or provider — makes the network more valuable for the next one. That's the point of building this as one shared platform, not another point solution.
A governed workspace, not a black box
Every number below describes what's actually running on the platform today — not a roadmap.
Principles behind every product decision
Explainable, never a black box
Every match, every risk score, every compliance decision shows its reasoning. If a person can't see why the system reached a conclusion, we don't ship it.
Human judgment, always
Neither the compliance engine nor the advisory AI can approve, clear, or auto-apply anything material. A person makes every decision that matters — the system's job is to surface evidence.
Every party sees the same record
The importer and the exporter see the same status, the same risk score, the same settlement ledger. Information asymmetry between counterparties is a bug, not a feature.
